I am a 13 yr old lesbian. I recently came out to my best friend and then discovered that if I just started to tell everyone they would either learn to live with it or stop being my friend. So I told all my friends and told them it was perfectly ok if they told the world. I was so glad I came out because I had a crush on my best friend and soon after I told her I started dating her and she came out weeks after me.  Now we spend a lot of time together and my friends think it is cool to watch us make out. I think a couple more of my friends are lesbians but just wont admit it. None of my friends deserted me like I expected I guess I needed to learn that my friends will always be there for me.
