Hey my name is Shannon and I'm 16 years old. Me and my girlfriend have been together going on 4 months and well I've never been more comfortable with any other. She made me feel secure enough to let my family know how I felt. My mom told me that I couldn't see her, talk to her, or be anywhere around her. So I took it into my own hands. I was suppose to be going to the movies with my "boyfriend" and I met her there instead and got caught. My mother grounded me from doing anything by my self until my girl gets sent off to boot camp. That's right to top it all off my girl friend is enlisted in the Army National Guard and so we also have that time period to face before we can be together. So in all we have 2 in a half years left. Which isn't that long but long enough. Its been really tough on me so far but I think in the end all this heartache is gonna be worth it. She is my other half and I have no intention of letting her go again.
