I am 19 years old and I have been out since I was 15. The first person I came out to was my sister's girlfriend.. she helped me out a lot.. and also told my parents.. which at the time pissed me off but now I am so happy cause it saved me for having to do it. My mother and I didn't get along for about a year but that wasn't because I was a lesbian it was b/c of the girl I was seeing.. she didn't like her at all. Now my whole family knows, my high school knew.. the whole community knows.. I am so open. And I am so happy that I have no problem.. but now I am seeing this girl.. well that is going to have it rough with her parents.. her mother mostly. And I feel for her but she knows I am always there for her no matter what.
