Let me make one thing perfectly clear from the onset. I am a major fan of Suzanne Westenhoefer. In fact, I am a firm believer that Hollywood could use more than one blond comedian; they just don't know it yet. Ms. Westenhoefer's CD, "I'm not Cindy Brady" is not only funny, but a good resource if you need help understanding some of those inside jokes you've heard over the years.

In "I'm Not Cindy Brady," Suzanne takes on some pretty controversial topics in a very personal way. When discussing the butch/femme concept (yes, she even takes on THAT topic!), she isn't afraid to share her own personal stories and experiences. Instead of using personal observation, as many comedians are apt to do, Suzanne uses personal experience for her material. Sometimes embarrassing and sometimes painful, it all rings very true and funny.

A bit of warning, Suzanne does not wrap her message in a politically correct blanket. She puts it out there the way she sees it, and without apology. I still strongly recommend this CD to everyone, no matter what their sexual orientation. I'm Not Cindy Brady, and more specifically, Suzanne Westenhoefer, will bring you many hours of pleasure.
